First stop: Santa Barbara

In planning my travels, I always intended my first stop to be Mount Calvary, a Benedictine monastery/retreat house tucked away in the mountains of Santa Barbara. For the last few years, I have taken annual retreats here and the brothers graciously agreed to let me do an extended working retreat. I think the peace and tranquility here will ground me and open me up to new experiences during the rest of my travels.
